Dewayne Bryant
Dewayne earned a BA degree in history from Lipscomb
University (1998). He has earned MA degrees in Biblical Studies
(Reformed Theological Seminary, 2000) and Bible (Lipscomb University,
2003), currently finishing a third degree in Biblical and Ancient
Near Eastern Archaeology and Languages (Trinity Evangelical Divinity
School). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies
at Regions University.
Dewayne is a member of the Society of Biblical
Literature and the American Schools of Oriental Research. He has
been published in several Christian journals. He conducts Light
From the Past Seminars, exploring the way in which history
and archaeology both illuminate and confirms the events of the
Bible.
Dewayne and his wife Christa have a daughter,
Haydn. They worship at Concord Road church of Christ in Nashville,
where they make their home.
