Jim Palmer
Jim Palmer holds an earned Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in Finance from Memphis State University
and holds Series 7 and Series 52 professional licenses. He
is co-founder of Focus Press, Inc., co-editor of Think magazine
and serves as a regular contributing writer.
Jim is also a Director of Focus Press, Inc. and
is currently scheduling appointments in 2007 for his seminar titled, Faith & Finance.
These seminars will focus on personal financial management, stewardship,
and investments, along with God’s role in, and plans for,
your financial life.
In addition, Jim is a Director with PLP Capital
Markets, a comprehensive fixed income investment firm. Prior
to joining PLP Capital Markets, Jim held the position of Senior
Vice President with FTN Financial, a division of First Tennessee
Bank. During his thirteen years with FTN, he provided coverage
to multibillion-dollar U.S. branches of overseas banks and domestic
depository institutions, government municipalities, and university
pension and endowment funds as a fixed income strategist and portfolio
advisor.
Jim is married to Cindy (Hall) Palmer, and has
three children: Shelby, Albany, and Mia. He and his family worship
with the Crieve Hall church of Christ in Nashville, TN where they
make their home.
